Baby it’s cold outside! Temperatures are below freezing, kids are out sledding and building snow people, yards are buried under several inches of snow. It can only mean one thing; SPRING is on the way! The Housing & Building Association is getting ready for our 42nd Annual Home Improvement & Remodeling Expo.
The 2017 Home Expo is taking place March 3-5 at Two Rivers Convention Center. Our expo is the oldest and largest on the Western Slope! If you have a product or service that you would like to showcase, keep reading for more information and answers to your questions about the event.

What types of vendors showcase their businesses in your show?
We have EVERYONE that is part of the housing industry under one roof during the three days of the expo!; From builders/remodelers, landscapers, HVAC companies to suppliers for carpet/tile, window, cabinets, spas, solar, lenders; just to name a few! The HBA’s Home Expo is a great way to get your product in front of potential consumers.By creating the one-stop-shopping environment, consumers feel at ease while looking for products and services, getting to know you and your sales team, being able to ask questions, as well as being introduced to the latest products on the market. Whether they are in the market for a brand new home or updating their current one, we want to have a wide variety of services in one location.
What is the average number of attendees for the expo?
We average over 5,000 attendees with over 80 different vendors showcasing their products.
I am a member of the Housing & Building Association of NW Colorado. Do I get a discount on my booth?
YES! All HBA members receive a discount on their booths versus non-members of the association. Our website shows information about our association. We are a not for profit organization that is associated with the Colorado Association and National Association of Home Builders. We work hard to keep the building industry going strong on the Western Slope. Our Expo is one of our largest fundraisers for the HBA!
When is the deadline to reserve my booth or become a sponsor?
The deadline to reserve your space and be included in our vendor page in the official Home Expo Program is February 2, 2017. Due to high vendor demand, we are opening the entire south hall to create more booth space. Out of 137 booth spaces for rent, we have less than 58 available (with 10 of those located outside of the convention center). Don’t wait until then, as we may not have any spaces left! What advertising do you do for the event?
The HBA has a strong network of media partners, including The Daily Sentinel, News Channel 5/Fox 4, and The Vault 100.7! We work closely with these partners promoting the event in the weeks prior to and during the event. From live broadcasts to the official program, this event is heavily marketed on the Western Slope! Become an event sponsor and your business receives extra promotion before and during the event, based on the level of sponsorship you select!
