Reasons to be thankful for the Grand Valley real estate market

Bounty in the Valley

It’s been an interesting market this year, as rising prices have made it a great time for homeowners to sell and move up, move down or just move across town. Low-interest rates have continued to make it an attractive time for people to buy, and there are still plenty of people moving to the Grand Valley from other parts of the state and the country. Circumstances are good for both buyers and sellers, which makes this area, and this market, fairly unique.

As we wrap up Thanksgiving weekend, the Real Estate Weekly staff decided to ask a few local realtors what they’re thankful for in the local real estate market. Here are their responses:

From Craig Huckaby: “We feel very blessed to have a subdivision like Summerhill (above) in our marketplace for people who want that lock and leave lifestyle. It gives them a place to hang their hat, and yet be able to leave at a moment’s notice. Summerhill has attracted a lot of out-of-area buyers, and it’s enabled them to move to Grand Junction and enjoy that lifestyle and live in an area that’s very safe.” – courtesy photo

Home for First time buyer
